The Walter and Victoria Bradley-Green Scholarship

The Award
The 2012-13 school year kicked off the first Annual scholarship for our parents Walter & Victoria Bradley-Green. The family will award a $1,000 scholarship to Lincoln of University of Pennsylvania students who qualify.

 

The scholarships will help to supplement books and tuition for master level students. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic achievement, personal character, leadership qualities, and community service.
 

Eligibility
The Bradley-Green Family Scholarships will be made possible through Rodney Bradley and will be awarded to applicants who have matriculated in the Master of Science in Administration program (MSA), the Master of Science in Reading 
program (MSR) or the Master of Education (MED) programs at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania.
 

Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.

Francine Jackson Scholarship

Dr. Rodney Bradley and Friends will award The Francine Jackson
Scholarship to a promising and talented high school senior enrolled in a four-year program in colleges or universities and working towards a degree in marketing, public relations or communications. In order to apply, candidates must write a maximum 1000 words essay answering the following question: “What is an example of a company with a strong public relations presence, and what are the main qualities which go into the company’s PR success?” The scholarship is for $500.00

Patricia Loper Scholarship

The Patricia Louise Loper Music Scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing a major in the performing, visual arts, journalism and/or mass communications. Applicants must be a high school senior or a college student currently enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. vocational, junior college, or four-year college/university and must be a full-time, degree-seeking student by the upcoming academic calendar year and pursuing a major in the visual/performing arts (film, theatre, fashion, photography, graphic design, dance, music, journalism, mass communications, etc.). The scholarship is for $500.00

Verlynne “Lena” Allen-Bradley Scholarship

Dr. Rodney Bradley and Friends Choir is offering a $500 Music/Vocal Scholarship to help encourage and promote music education in the city of Chester. The student must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and must major in music with emphasis in choral or vocal performance at an accredited four-year institution of higher education. The student applicant must also be enrolled in the choral music program (curriculum) at the high school in which he or she attends.

Ronald "Peabody" Williams Scholarship

The Award

The 2018-2019 Academic Year is the Inauguration of The Annual Ronald Jah’mail “Peabody” Williams Scholarship honoring the legacy of their son and his commitment to education and athletics. The Williams family will annually award a scholarship to Chester Upland School District high school students who qualify. The Williams Family Scholarship will financially supplement the cost of books for high school athletes who have been accepted to an accredited college or trade school. The Williams Family Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of proven academic achievement, personal character, leadership qualities, and dedication to community service. 

 

Eligibility

The Williams Family Scholarship will be made possible through Aunt B’s Country Kitchen and will be awarded to applicants who are matriculating in the athletic programs at Chester High School, CCCS of the Arts, and the STEM Academy that are extensions of the Chester Upland School District.
